Field report · Store 001

We pointed Storecheck at our founder's own store. It found 120 problems.

shop.morrowarc.com runs entirely on Shopify Collective suppliers. The catalog looked clean. It was not.

01

The free sample check

The public-page scan found 4 issues on shop.morrowarc.com: a currency inconsistency, two house-rule violations, and a shipping clarity gap. Useful, but the surface layer only. Nothing there hinted at what was underneath.

02

The operational audit

A read-only store connection later, the full-catalog audit walked 118 products and 326 variants in about a minute. Verdict: 120 issues. 2 blocked orders. 117 cost money. 1 hurt trust. Missing HS codes, missing countries of origin, zero weights, and two markets failing silently.

The docket at first look. Green on the surface, red once we opened the drawers.

03

The two markets nobody could buy from

The European Union market was enabled with 13 member countries carrying no shipping rates at all, and the store's suppliers offered zero services to the EU. Checkout failed for an entire continent while the storefront happily advertised to it.

Fix: markets trimmed to where suppliers can actually deliver. A one-line settings change that would have taken months to notice from order data alone.

04

98 fields fixed the same afternoon

87 HS codes, 27 countries of origin, and 11 weights written back programmatically, every value sourced from sibling variants or standard classifications, never guessed. The remainder became a short, specific supplier request list instead of a mystery.

Findings grouped by impact, with the fix for each set of issues written on the same card.

05

The ghosts

The scariest finding was not in the report. Ten products, including seven tarot deck editions, were stocked only at a dropshipping app location that no longer fulfilled anything. They looked perfect on paper. Their customs data was complete. And any order placed for them would have gone nowhere.

All ten are archived, and "fulfillment reality" is now a core Storecheck check, because the worst catalog problems are the ones that look fine.

Same store, same day. An honest map of what can actually ship.

06

The after

Same store, same day: an honest market map, a catalog where every field is real, and every remaining gap assigned to the supplier who owns the answer. The report went from a wall of noise to a to-do list with names on it.
